The worlds best ELIXIR.......
Waking up every morning , I take 3 glasses of table water to keep my body clean, hydrated and healthy. The body's energy level is greatly affected by the amount of water taken in.
As adults, you lose water through the sole of your feet, breathing, perspiration and the passing of urine. As these body mechanisms continue, there is need to replace lost fluid through the constant intake of water.
When you are not taking enough water, the body has to compensate for the shortage. To eliminate fluid retention drink a lot of water not less. If you do not drink enough water to maintain your body fluid balance,you can impair every aspect of your body's physiological function.
Most people suffer from body aches ranging from waist pain to back aches.. I would always advise regular fluid intake.....Now I must emphasize on the need for pure, crystal water and not juices or sweetened water .....
There is a huge difference between drinking water and drinking beverages that contain water , Caffeinated beverages stimulate the adrenal glands and act as diuretics robbing your body of necessary water , soft drinks contain phosphorous which can lead to depletion of bone calcium, fruit juices contain a lot of sugar and stimulate the pancreas.......These drinks may tax the body more than cleanse it.
Do you know that drinking other beverages with the exclusion of water can cause you to lose your taste for water?
Here are a few tips of adding more water to your daily routine:
1. Keep a good supply of water containers full in your fridge and a few amount of alternatives.
2. Upon arriving your office, fill up a jug with water and place it on your desk. You will get plenty of water to drink during your work hours.
3. Caffeinated beverages acts as diuretics and increase fluid loss so they do not count towards your daily hydration needs. Try substituting water for that mid-afternoon soda or your second cup of coffee.
Never wait for you body to signal it's thirsty because at that time you are already started to be dehydrated. The 'dry mouth' signal is the last outward sign of extreme dehydration.
Dehydration plays a major role in bringing on Migraine headache . Aside from flexing exercises, water helps lubricate our joints thus reducing the occurrence of rheumatism and other body aches .
Ladies who are conscious of their weight, must understand that drinking water is essential to weight loss. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolise stored fats....
Whether you want shinier hair, younger skin, healthier body or all 3.... Water is the world's best elixir .

ReplyDeleteNo zainab... 3 glasses is even too small but its a good start as you get used to drinking water that early...Im hoping you would increase the quantity of water consumed.
