Always remember to take your Vitamins....
3. Cut down on smoking.......
Smoking brings temporary relief during cold rainy days since each puff brings a small amount of heat to the body. Consuming a bowl of steaming hot pepper soup will help your cold by keeping your body warm... it also provides instant relief to the throat region by clearing up phlegm in the nasal cavities and general throat area..
6. Wash your hands...........
According to medical researchers , the best way to contact a cold is by having dirty hands...Common cold symptoms usually escalate during the rainy seasons so the best way to keep yourself safe is to keep your hands clean and frequently use a sanitizer....Do not touch your face frequently as the usual point of entry is through your facial organs...
7. Drink a lot of water........
Drinking a lot of water is an indirect form of prevention and sometimes treatment to all sorts of illnesses. Water hydrates the body ,helping it deal with cold and flu...Drink to your heart's content daily....
8. Eat a lot of vegetables....
Vegetables that contain phytochemical works better than Vitamin C, they are more efficient in pacifying the symptoms of cold and flu....Eating a good dose of vegetables also lessens your recovery time from those illnesses.
As more wet days approach dear friends, be reminded to take proper care of your body.......*winks*
