Top TEN Annoying Driving Habits....

The truth about driving is this... ''Most people can't drive''... This may sound like a shocking conclusion but it's the truth, no offence.  Most drivers will fail a basic licence test and this is situation that needs to be addressed...

 You will all agree with me on the basic lack of common sense being used out on our roads. Here are some of the common annoying driving habits ...

  1. Unnecessarily driving with your high beams on: Driving is already dangerous enough. Momentarily blinding other motorist is horribly irresponsible...
  2. Hitting the brakes too early: Doing this especially in heavy traffic is ill advised. When you slow down, the car behind you slows down and then all others behind slow down gradually. Break as necessary,stop slamming the pads
  3. Making quick turns at an intersection: I was driving with a friend in Abuja and at some point I had to ask where the traffic wardens were because the manner at which road users made turns at the intersections baffled me... What would it cost you to wait for your turn? Why make quick turns when you know the opposing vehicle is in the right of way... The funniest part of it all is the fact that the driver at fault hurls the abuses..Lol
  4. Not using your lights during a rainstorm or driving without brake lights: This has become a regular habit with road users... Previously the heavy duty truck drivers were the culprits but now even smaller vehicles are taking the lead... Fix the damn lights and do us all a favor please..
  5. Going below the speed limit on a fast lane: Now this for me is really annoying... Driving on the fast lane as though you driving through a terminal is pathetic.. Why would a learner be on the fast lane? What is wrong with you driving on the service lane and leaving the fast lane for the skilled drivers?.... Every driver wants to claim a formula 1 title...
  6. Honking at Green lights: This has become a situation to be dealt with... We are all queued up behind the traffic light which says ''stop''... it all of a sudden goes ''green'' and the horns start blaring...haba! OK I get it! you are in a hurry and the guy in front is too slow to notice the light has changed but does that mean you should start blaring your horns like its a jamboree?....
  7. Not letting other cars merge: This is a habit that must stop.. Road users please take note. The fact is this, every body has to merge at some point or another. It takes maybe three seconds out of your day to let another car in and prevent a possible fender bender..Have a heart friends and save your self the grammar...  
  8. Overtaking on a solid line... Aha! this for me is the most annoying.. For freaking sakes its a single lane road!!!! Why do you have to overtake and block the opposing  vehicles! This has to stop..
Every one claims to be in a hurry but the truth is this....When an accident occurs, you will end up wasting your precious time so why not save yourself the headache...
